Peace River Campground is a family-owned and operated destination designed for families who cherish fun and the great outdoors. Situated along the Peace River in Arcadia, Florida, we provide an ideal setting for outdoor adventures and family enjoyment.
Peace River Campground boasts a mile of scenic riverfront along the Peace River. Unlike other campgrounds, we offer a genuine camping experience across 160 acres with ample primitive camping options. Our facilities include 225 full hookup sites with 50/30/20 amp connections, capable of accommodating large RVs. We also feature the “Buddy Site,” where up to 4 RVs can camp together in a group. Our site options range from single to quad sites—check out the site map for more details.
Campers are welcome to use 4-wheelers, side-by-sides, and golf carts within the campground, but dirt bikes are not allowed. All riders must wear a wristband while on the move. Golf carts and side-by-sides can be used from 8 am to 10 pm, while 4-wheelers are permitted from 8 am until dusk. Wristbands are $13 each and are valid for the entire stay. The speed limit throughout the campground is 9.5 mph, and riding in the Peace River is prohibited. We encourage a fun, muddy time with family, but we enforce a strict no-tolerance policy for erratic riding and speeding.
On typical Saturday nights, join us at the PRC Rec Hall for an ice cream social at 7:30 pm. Bingo is occasionally held on holiday weekends and will be announced on our calendar. We now use books and daubers for bingo; bring your own dauber or buy one for $2. Card books for 10 games are available, with options to purchase 1 card ($2), 3 cards ($5), or 6 cards ($10). Please note that we only accept cash, and all money collected is returned as prizes.
Our fully stocked camp store is open daily at 8 am, so if you’ve forgotten anything, we likely have what you need.
NO DIRT BIKES/Off Road Motorcycles, Mini bikes, Mud Trucks & Jeeps, Swamp Buggies, 3 wheelers or excessively loud recreational vehicles permitted. NO RIDING IN THE RIVER!!
Check our Facebook page for our food truck schedule. They are also listed under “coming events” on our calendar on the website.
To ensure the safety of all our campers, we have implemented a new policy: glass containers are no longer permitted on our property. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you are seen with glass, we will kindly ask you to transfer its contents into a cup.
